The ant surveyed its surroundings and gnashed its mandibles in anger. The prey had escaped. It brought two arms up and cleaned its antennae as it began to plan what to do next. The bringing of the dead humans had failed. It could still raid their food stores, but it had not taken long for the ants to figure out that the tin cans, though they sometimes held very tasty nutrition, could also be very difficult to digest. One of their queens had died in the experiment. The ant bent its head and stared in through the window of the trailer home. Maybe there was one more human left to take? It only saw a small poodle frozen in terror.

Inspiration: A balloon creature. Don't ask.
Story Potential: Low. Very, very low.
Notes: Wow. Damn, that's craptacular!
