Galaxy Cruise Ship: Sci-fi
Apr. 25th, 2005 10:16 pmShe looked up at the falling leaves. They spiraled around her face like one-winged butterflies trying to float away into the blue sky and failing. Sighing, she set aside her book and stood. She was a one-winged butterfly herself, she thought, trying to find her way into the black velvet of the galaxy and failing.
She walked to the reception area and spoke to Marge. "Anything for me today?"
"No, hon. Keep hope, though, there's a big cruise liner coming in from Andromeda tonight. Those ships always shed crew like crazy as soon as they get to a civilized port. Might be they'll have something for you--maybe not what you want, but at least something to get your space rating."
Notes to self: could be episodic humor/adventures on a space cruise ship.
