Snow Queen: Fantasy Fairytale

Anne Marie was a good girl, everyone in the village agreed. She worked hard, she was sensible without being stodgy, and she was pretty in a homespun way with red apple cheeks bright blonde hair that outshone the shun, and a figure that promised that she would not give up in the middle of a task. Pierre was also a good boy, if a bit wild. He would kiss a girl without asking to meet her family first, but he was very good to his mother, all the gossips agreed, and no doubt he would settle down soon. It seemed that they were to be proven right, for one day he went to kiss anne marie, without even thinking about it, and she slapped him hard enough that he sat on the ground. From that day forward--


Inspiration: A retelling of the Snow Queen fairytale.
Story Potential: High--but use nothing of this.
Finished Length: Short story.
Notes: Why are they French? I don't know. I don't want them to be French. But yeah, sort of retelling of Snow Queen fairytale, so use a more fairytale tone. Girl and boy fall in love, boy falls in love with other woman, other woman sets him tasks to win her, girl protects him on these tasks, other woman is won over by girl and frees boy from dominion, girl tells boy off and leaves him.
