"Classic recipe?" she asked dubiously, watching the crone pour a bottle of India ink into the cauldron.

"Classic recipe," the hag cackled. She cleared her throat. "Sorry for the cackle, dearie. I'm so used to the tourist trade. I didn't mean to condescend."

She shook her head. "I know. It's the same thing in India. The hordes of backpackers looking for a little authentic god-magic and an idol they can take home to their flat in Chelsea."

The hag chuckled. This time there was only a hint of a cackle in it. "While you're here, want to trade some secrets? I'll teach you a few new tricks, you'll teach me a few--?"

"Sounds good. Won't be very useful for the tourist trade, though."

"Oh, they're just what brings in the money to keep me afloat. The real fun is in the after-hours trade. Like this little project we're working on here."

Inspiration: On my desk: Suisse Mocha Classic Recipe tin being used to hold phone cards, and a bottle of (non-India) ink.
Story Potential: Low. There's no story here, just a snippet of conversation.
Finished Length: ?
Notes: Um, no notes.
