Rockin': Sci-fi
Nov. 29th, 2005 04:30 pmThe glam lights were rocking, Rocky Alba had to admit. They were rockin' it in that old-skool way that made his fans go craaazzzy, baby!! He scratched his butt and tilted his head up to look at them. "Pretty sweet, Sunchime!" he told his assistant. She glowed in response to his praise. The greenish light ruined the effect, and he scowled. "Cut the glow, sweet cheeks," he ordered. Obediently, her plastisheath skin faded back to a monochrome mauve-tinged sliver. "But honey," she whined, "you told me that I should glow when you praised me." He sighed. Her routine was getting old, too.
Inspiration: None.
Story Potential: Medium. I like him as a minor character, but over the course of a larger part, he'd be tedious and derived.
Notes: So, yeah. Sci-fi not-so-hot rockstar future, baby.
Hmm. Maybe I should put together all my not-quite-main-characters into a huge ensemble and let them fight it out.
