It shivered in the coil of her stomach, meeping softly to itself as if to console itself against a coming loss. "Don't worry," she whispered to it, "you won't lose me. You can't. We've been together since you were born--how could I lose you now?" It was a lie, and she knew it. They were locked together in one of bad Zach's storage closets. He was called bad Zach for a reason, and only one of them was that his twin brother, also named Zach, had won the moniker good Zach by being so very good with the ladies. In a lot of ways, she preferred bad Zach--just not when he'd locked her in here for holding back on his last cut of what she'd stolen.
