Contortionist: Character Sketch
Mar. 13th, 2006 07:49 pmShe twisted her toes around, twiddling them, to the enthrallment of young children who would immediately go home and practice twiddling *their toes*. And to the intrigue of gentlemen who were not-so-gentlemanly thinking of what that sort of dexterity could do in bed. Some of them, she knew, would make discreet or not so discreet attempts to inquire as to whether they could have first-hand knowledge of such skills. She wasn't a cooch dancer, though, so she needn't fear. Her bizarre flexibility, the way that she seemed to explore her surroundings, was enough of a hook for the ringmaster that she didn't need to perform in other ways. She had something that most other contortionists had lost along the way.
Inspiration: None.
Story Potential: Meh.
Notes: It's a character sketch. An interesting one, and I'm sure I'll eventually end up doing *something* involving the circus. Could also tie in to the orbital entertainment diplomats story, though that wasn't what I was thinking of in terms of tone here. She explores more than contorts. Can't help herself.
