When she was a very little girl, she had figured out that the people who were reflected in the spoon were either dead or soon to die. She always looked in the audience to see if she could spot the person who had been reflected in the spoon. If she could, they were soon to die. If she could not, they already had. She kept looking whenever a reflection popped up; she couldn't help herself, even though it was terribly depressing. Once she'd seen a little boy with a sucker in his mouth and a balloon in his hand. She'd scanned the audience hoping that she wouldn't see--
