It was the sound of a Molotov cocktail exploding on the street in front of his house that finally stirred him from the groggy sleep that he had been enjoying. It was an unfortunate beginning to the revolution that he had himself planned. He had rather expected to have more to do with it, and in fact had been out all hours of the night inspiring and rousing student spirits by the traditional means of hard liquor and soft talk of insurrection. He hadn't expected it to spread so well, though; there must have been much more simmering anger in the town than his preliminary survey indicated. Usually it took him a good three days to get the rabble worked up enough to start throwing Molotovs and other things. Was he losing his touch? Had he lost--
