An Alien Hijacked My Cruise Ship, Sir: Science Fiction

Nobody figured out that cute little Ella Smith was an alien until the shakedown cruise, when they were way out of sight of land and she'd jammed all the frequencies to keep them from radioing out. Somebody had suggested the brilliant idea of painting an S.O.S. on top of the cruise ship's highest roof so that it could be spotted from the sky or by satellite, but when a brave man ventured up there, he'd only gotten the first S painted before Ella showed up with an amused look on her pixie-like face and an image printed out from a satellite showing the entire event with uncanny clarity that he'd never seen on any satellite photo before...in full color. So they were mostly resigned to letting Ella do whatever it was that she'd needed to hijack a cruise ship for, though--

Notes: Kind of curious to know why an alien would need a cruise ship, but really, whole premise is rather silly and doesn't immediately grab me.
