She'd known going in that it was going to be considerably fresher than even the most daring sushi place would serve. She looked up and shot a helpless glance at her host. A smirk answered her. "What's wrong, middie?" he asked. "Not feeling up to dinner tonight? We could always do this later, if you'd prefer." "You sneaky, underhanded, low-down, rank-pulling bastard," she muttered. Notes: ...and somehow her ability to eat foreign food gets her all mixed up in some business that she really doesn't want to be mixed up in. Or something like that. Honestly, I thought it was low potential, but then I found myself being amused by the notion. Not original, not earthshaking by any stretch, but it could be fun.
