She liked to think of it as a stockpot; it reminded her of her grandmother, who had always had a pot of something going on the stove, making her house smell heavenly and meals be a much-looked-forward-to treat. Admittedly, her grandmother would have been too busy staring around the room she was in and asking why she was floating to think of calling the small yellow world below them a stockpot. Her grandmother had lived to see man on the moon, but she hadn't lived long enough to see the expansion of the Earth into outer space, the asteroids and planets hastily (for space time) being terraformed to allow--
