The journalist approached the great water wheel in the center of the town with some trepidation. He'd written about it before, around the time of the annual fair, and at the time he'd dismissed it as little more than a trapping of the rustic past that so many were eager to embrace now that it brought in reliable tourist dollars. He doubted he'd see people doing as much if the old wheel weren't certified and documented and photographed and stood next to and replicated in any number of small snow globes that brought a few extra dollars into the town coffers. He hadn't thought much of it, but the story was his to write, so he had dutifully written. Now he--

Story Potential: Medium-high
Notes: Mystery, maybe thriller. People getting killed at sites he's written about. Could be good if the journalist/detective character is interesting. But ick, I hate writing about writers.
