The Island: Science Fiction
Mar. 18th, 2008 11:14 amThe island was all she needed, she thought happily, as she floated on her back in one of the crystal-clear natural springs. Flowers drifted down from the arching trees above. Birds sang nearby. The enticing smell of roasting meat drifted towards her from their camp, where she knew Hans the incredibly muscled was making her dinner. "Oh, fuck it!" she exclaimed, sitting up and splashing down to the bottom of the spring as she abruptly stopped floating. "I can't buy it, I can't believe it, this is entirely worthless!" She blinked out of the scene and back to the table, where the worried eyes of her therapist were staring down at her. "If you can't believe it, why is that? Do you think you *don't* deserve such a pleasant--"
Inspiration: The island.
Story Potential: High.
Notes: I'm thinking some sort of pleasant sci-fi/romance. Of course in the end she does somehow end up on an island like that. Important for symmetry and all that.
