Strawberry: Genre Undetermined
Aug. 9th, 2010 10:13 amThe strawberry dropped into her glass of milk and she smiled lazily up at the soda jerk, who gulped, his Adam's apple bobbing at her sudden attention.
"It's a nice move to get a girl," she admitted, "as long as you're sure she's not allergic to strawberries."
His eyes widened in sudden horror. She laughed. "I'm not. When do you get off shift..." her eyes strayed to his nametag, "...Roger?"
Roger stammered, "Nine...nine PM, Miss."
She pouted. "So long? Ah, well. I'll meet you out back." She picked up the milkshake and drained it in one long sucking swallow, feeling the cold sludge burn down her throat. When she stopped, only the strawberry remained. Roger stared at her, his eyes wide. She picked up the strawberry and crunched into it.
Inspiration: Photo of a strawberry splashing into a spoonful of milk.
Story Potential: Low.
Notes: Well, she's got nothing good planned for Roger, but I'm sure that's obvious!
