Centipede Train: New Weird
Aug. 20th, 2010 10:58 amThe train howled its warning as it tore through the town, its many centipede legs gripping and releasing the wooden beams that laid its course, leaving a trail of ichor behind it. Some kids thought it was funny to put salt on the tracks to see the train scream. Some kids thought it was funny to tie animals to the tracks to see the train eat them. Other kids thought it was funny to tie those kids to the tracks. I won't tell you which I was when I was little, not with the way the retroactive enforcement of laws has been going lately with the vine labor shortages. I mean, who volunteers for parasites? Even with the nice salary and good health insurance and all--those things don't come out right. Or at all. I hear they don't even really try--
