The quick strobe of handbags, jackets, shoes, cute dresses, and short skirts dazed her into almost walking into the wall that opened up teasingly. A small, static sign beside the wall-mouth stated that by entering into the fitting room she was agreeing to purchase the item currently on display and that her credit would be debited automatically unless she hit the cancel button within 30 seconds of entry. She would have been willing to bet anything that once she fell into the fitting room a strobe light would come on and loud music would play and generally anything that might distract a person for 30 seconds, would. This wasn't one of the legit high-scale shops further into the zone, it was one of those fly-by-night rent-by-the-hour stores on the outskirts, where a shop might pop up for only an hour and then vanish until the proprietor had paid for the next hour and so on. That model only worked in certain limited areas of prefab or measured goods, but there were always solid printing shops trying to make a go of it with the latest printer model (probably printed itself) and a gimmicky idea or some great new branding or a printstuff that nobody else had tried. Most of those went out of business quickly, half of them because they'd gotten their printer so cheap that it broke after only a little use.

Inspiration: Used the random LJ feature to get http://sprinkleslove.livejournal.com/
Story potential: Low.
Notes: Low because this isn't really a story, but I do love the setting.
