Beer & Voices: Genre Undetermined

Beer was the only way Simon could talk to his voices, and that was probably best for all concerned, where all concerned is everyone who would get concerned about someone talking to voices that nobody else could hear. That category included Simon, his shrink, his family, his coworkers, his friends, and anyone who randomly encountered him on the street. It notably did not include his voices, and when he was young and in college, they'd often managed to persuade him that it would be a great idea to do Idea XYZ that would just happen to end up with him having an extra case of beer in his room.
