The fizz went straight to the cat's nose. It hissed and backed away, knocking over the mirror behind it, which crashed to the ground with a spectacular sound. "Agh!" Mortimer shouted above the pandemonium. "No, not the greotnick! That's for a very special customer! Bad kitty. Bad Rinkle! You know better than that," he scolded as he reached down to retrieve the slightly diminished cup of greotnick and ferry it to safety. Rinkle hissed, his fur still bristled up. "Do you know how much the ingredients for that cost me?" Mortimer asked.

Inspiration: "Strawberry Mousse" by Anjali - something about 'fizz'
Story Potential: Oh, hell. High. It could be fun.
Finished Length: Short story? Novella?
Notes: Obviously, something interesting happends to Rinkle, Mortimer is forced to disappoint his client and has to flee or go into hiding as a result. Think along the general lines of the Lawrence Watt-Evans Ethshar novels in terms of tone. Light-hearted, fun.
