His instincts were understandable, but they were screaming nothing but lies at him, and he knew it. If he ran, the great beast would be on him in mere seconds. The dino only saw movement, not stillness. So long as he didn't move, he'd be fine. Just as long as he didn't move. A hand closed over his shoulder, and he damn near levitated. He ripped off his headset and spun around, ready to tear a strip off of whoever had casually sauntered into an arcade and done the unforgivable: gotten a player disturbed out of the trance. As soon as he saw her face, though, he knew that he forgave her, and one thing more. She was in terrible trouble.

Inspiration: A line from something else.
Story Potential: Low to nil.
Notes: The whole "there's a big important job, and only a gamer can do it!" thing is such a cliched wish-fulfillment fantasy.
