Snow Globe: Genre Undetermined.

The snow globe rattled when she shook it this time. She stared at the fake plastic flakes flying around inside the globe, at the little house that seemed so securely anchored in place. There was nothing inside the globe to rattle, but rattle it did. She tilted it upside down experimentally, and heard a solid thunk as something hit the top of the snow globe, but when she squinted at it, through the blizzard of settling snowflakes, she couldn't see anything unusual. She scowled. She liked the snow globe, but not as much as she hated a mystery. She lifted the globe up, held it over the sink, and rapped it sharply against the edge of the sink. Notes: Not that interesting to me, but I suppose it warrants medium because something could be made out of it. I just don't have that urge.
