She'd damn well withstood all the pressure. She had her own face, the one she was born with, and she planned to keep it. It wasn't perfect, not even close, but it was hers, and that was what she cared about. Her mother hadn't been so picky, and the memory of a long line of strangers coming to pick her up from daycare, insisting they were her mother, still sometimes gave her nightmares.
Inspiration: The "Surgery" song from Repo: The Genetic Opera was stuck in my head.
Story Potential: Low.
Notes: Meh. I was thinking, "And then aliens come that will only deal with people wearing their true face," and then I realized that was way too complicated along with the surgery.
