Crow's Pyramid: Mythology
May. 24th, 2007 11:43 amHe would fly high above, circling his domain and watching the ant-like humans toiling away at his pyramid. Then he would swing back down, watching as they grew larger and larger and he smaller and smaller, until he was only a crow perching on top of a block of stone, watching the humans build their massive monument to the dead. He cawed and shook his feathers, but all that got him was a chunk of rock thrown by a foreman less superstitious and more practical. The crow hopped off, irritated. He would speak with Anubis about this disrespect being shown. It wasn't right. Any of the messengers of the dead should be treated with respect, no matter that their eyes didn't glow red, or they didn't glow to the size of a horse. The crow flapped his way off into the underworld, waiting--
